METRIC Extended Follow-up (METRIC-EF)
METRIC-EF is an extension to the METRIC study, funded by the NIHR Health Technology Assessment Programme (HTA). The new study aims to determine if imaging abnormalities at the diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease (CD) can help predict which patients will go on to develop more severe CD after 5 years.
The study will use the existing METRIC recruitment sites, and is co-led by Stuart Taylor and Andrew Plumb from UCL.
