Topic: The use of colorectal stents for the treatment of lower bowel obstruction.
Aim: The aim of this registry is to collect individual patient records and track these procedures as a bridge to surgery and for palliative care. This dataset will be used to report on the use of colorectal stents for the treatment of lower bowel obstruction (LBO) due to colonic malignancies.
Target group: All patients undergoing colonic stent placement.
Collaborators: Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland and Dendrite Clinical Systems.
Current status: Data collection is ongoing.
