Liver disease comprises a wide spectrum of hepatic dysfunction. Once disease is suspected, an accurate diagnosis is the key to developing treatment strategies, monitoring those strategies and then providing long-term follow-up. Virtual Touch Quantification™ (VTQ) is a clinically proven real-time technique that utilises Acoustic Radiation Force Impulse (ARFI) technology to gently displace tissue for quantitative evaluation of liver tissue stiffness properties.
