Imaging of major trauma organised by the BIR Wessex Branch

This half day event will provide a comprehensive guide to imaging and radiological intervention in the poly trauma victim. Although primarily aimed at radiologists and radiographers, this meeting will be of interest to all health care professionals involved in the assessment and management of major trauma patients.

Learning objectives:

Understand the role of MDCT in the assessment of the poly trauma patient
Understand how modern trauma CT protocols have developed and be able to apply these to current practise
Understand the role of interventional radiology in the management of the trauma patients
