Edinburgh FRCR Course

The 2-day component of the Edinburgh FRCR 2B course offers each candidate the following elements.

3 individual, hour-long vivas with 2 examiners and 1 candidate, as in the exam.
6 hour-long small group tutorials, conducted in groups of 6, covering MSK, chest, paediatrics, nuclear medicine, breast and neuroradiology.
2 rapid reporting exams
2 long case exams

Viva format is 25 minutes viva time from each examiner, allowing 10 minutes for review of the cases and feedback at the end.

All elements are marked by the examiners using the same marking scheme as that used by the College.
