The AIMS seminars in Brazil are aimed at participants from Brazil, in particular last year residents, board-certified radiologists and fellows interested in oncologic imaging. They are designed to provide an in-depth review and an update of the different relevant aspects of imaging in oncologic patients, including solitary lung nodules and cancer, mediastinal masses, liver and pancreatic tumours, small bowel and renal malignancies, and quantitative imaging in oncologic imaging. An outstanding European and Brazilian faculty will highlight jointly the indications, explain the strengths and weaknesses of techniques available and will demonstrate the imaging features for diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Special focus will be given to practical problem solving and the proper use of imaging through case interpretation during interactive workshops.
