Austin Health is one of Victoria’s largest health care providers. Austin Health is a tertiary /quaternary hospital and a major teaching and research centre with university and research institute affiliations, including Melbourne and La Trobe Universities.
The Radiology Department at Austin Health offers Radiology Fellowships, including Hepatobiliary/Body and oncology. These fellowships are very popular positions, giving the successful applicant a wealth of in-depth experience across a broad range of radiological modalities.
Austin Health is the state centre for liver transplantation for Victoria and Tasmania; and provides tertiary level diagnostic and interventional radiology services for cirrhosis and HCC management. There is also a separate but attached oncology centre, the Olivia Newton John Cancer and Wellness Centre, with its own university affiliated research structure and extensive oncology services. These treatments include radiotherapy, medical oncology, interventional radiology and other targeted therapies.
